A day of learning

Hi folks,
Today is when I strongly realized that it’s time to pen down and share my thoughts.
I wouldn’t say it was a bad day at my work place though, but yes it was a kind of unpleasant experience. Yet, it was an important day is what I feel which added a great value to my learning and my life.
I shall share some of the things that I learnt from a wise man whom I consider to be my mentor.
He said, “Having a passion or just dreaming of something and putting no efforts in knowing how to turn them true is of no use”. He also adds, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, but all play and no work makes Jack a fool and nothing else”. One has to know how to work adding inputs to help make what he calls –“Living the dream”. After listening to him I realized the facts of the trade and life. I understood that by working hard and right is where I will be doing along the way to prepare for my future endeavours.
Yes folks! Nothing in life should come too easy. If it does come, then there wouldn’t be any sense of achievement and fun. Finally, I realize that I am excited about living the path to the dream as much as living the dream as well.
My mentor also made a note of addressing this point. He says, “One should also equally enjoy the time that he spends in working towards the dream”.

  2. Good job, Gautham!! I agree with what you say.. Hard work is important, but what is equally important is the fact that you do the right things needed to accomplish the task.. and that requires one to use his critical thinking skills!! What separates the wheat from the chaff is the fact that all successful people are passionate about the work they do, and for them, it is not the end results they seek, but the sheer joy in enjoying the process of getting there!!
